BUCKS MOCK 1 - IMPORTANT INFORMATION

This Mock exam can only be taken online from your home.

This Mock exam is suitable for the Buckinghamshire Grammar Schools and other schools which follow the GL Style format.

Paper 1 - Verbal Reasoning & English

Paper 1 will take 60 minutes to complete. This will include examples for each sections.

Paper 2 - Maths

Paper 2 will take 30 minutes to complete. 

Paper 3 - Non Verbal Reasoning 

Paper 3 will take 30 minutes to complete. This will include examples for each section.

Venue - Online (Home)

Start Date | Time : 04-04-2020 | 10:00
End Date | Time : 06-04-2020 | 17:00

The Mock exam will become active at 10 am on 4th April and will close at 10pm on 5th April. Your child can take the exam anytime during this period. 

Devices

• Laptop or desktop computer is recommended
• iPads are also permitted - the larger the screen the better

Browser

• Laptop/ Desktop - the application is best viewed in Google chrome
• iPad - the application is best viewed in Safari

DO NOT 

• Open the exam in two devices as this will disqualify the attempt
• Close the web browser

Exam Tips

• Always click 'Save & Next' to go to the next question otherwise the answer will not be saved
• Make sure all the questions are answered before submitting the exam
• Some VR questions have two answers. Please read the instructions carefully
• For VR questions, please read the example and instructions first
• Exams can be taken in any order, but please make sure all three papers are completed and submitted before 10PM on Sunday.
• Familiarise with the platform before starting the Mock exam

Results

• Results will be made available to all parents and pupils by 7th April
• You will be able to view your child's:
  • Raw score
  • Percentage
  • Standardised score
  • Rank
  • Overall score and summary
• You will also be able to review the correct, incorrect and unattended questions
• Answers and detailed solutions
