Interview Prep with Rocky

Interview Prep with Rocky – Confident, Adaptive Practice for Independent School Interviews

Most Independent schools include an interview after written or online assessments.
These interviews often blend general questions with challenge tasks such as:

  • Harder maths questions
  • Short comprehension
  • Poem analysis
  • Image description
  • Quick paragraph-writing exercise

Schools also tailor questions to each student’s profile (e.g., probing English more if Maths was strong, or vice versa).
Interview Prep with Rocky mirrors this so students feel prepared, calm, and confident.

Rocky conducts interactive mock interviews that adapt to the student’s strengths and gaps shown in their eMock results, delivering targeted follow-ups and constructive feedback just like a real interviewer would.

What Does It Include?

  • At least 20 interactive mock interviews to choose from
  • Every mock interview includes general questions plus 1–3 challenge tasks drawn from:
    • Harder Maths
    • Short comprehension
    • Poem & questions
    • Image description
    • Quick paragraph writing
  • Realistic interview flow and tone, aligned with Independent school expectations
  • Brief feedback after each answer, and a detailed report at the end

How Does It Work?

  1. Start a mock: Rocky greets the student and begins with friendly, general questions to warm up.
  2. Interactive answers: The student types their response and clicks Submit. Rocky acknowledges it, gives short feedback, and moves on.
  3. Challenge tasks: Rocky introduces one or more challenge tasks. Each follows the same answer + feedback flow.
  4. Final report: At the end, Rocky provides detailed feedback on every answer, suggests next steps, and may include a score or proficiency level.
